IRON LYNX COMMITS TO 2025 EUROPEAN LE MANS SERIES

BERRY, HANAFIN, SCHILLER TO SHARE DRIVER DUTIES
Iron Lynx is delighted to announce its entry into the LMGT3 class of the 2025 European Le Mans Series. The team will be fielding the brand-new Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 racecar for the coming season after sealing its second series title in a last-gasp finale last October at Portimão.
The #63 car will be relying on a solid line-up featuring the trio of Martin Berry, Lorcan Hanafin and Fabian Schiller. A Singapore native, Berry started competing in Asia, winning the 2017 Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific title. He then progressed through the ranks of GT competition and has competed in the European Le Mans Series in the last two seasons with two podiums to his credit in addition to a win in the Le Mans Cup.
Hailing from the UK, Hanafin made his debut in 2017 too, moving up from karting, and experienced his fair share of success throughout the junior tin-top and GT ladder. Having had the chance to race within different environments and with different manufacturers, he is now expected to make a smooth transition to the new Mercedes-AMG LMGT3.
Last but obviously not least, Fabian Schiller will be the team’s Platinum-rated driver, representing Mercedes-AMG Motorsport in his Performance Driver role. A 27-year-old from Germany, Schiller has a remarkable resume including wins in junior single seaters, single-make classes and top-lever GT racing.
The team has already begun testing the new car ahead of the upcoming season, which will kick-off with its traditional slot in early April. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the series opener, and the Spanish Grand Prix racetrack will also be the home to the pre-season prologue.
Following our 2024 championship win, we needed a highly competitive line-up to continue with the same pace and I think we have achieved that goal. Martin and Lorcan have already raced together in the past in ELMS, proving to be fast and consistent, and therefore know the championship very well. The chemistry with the team has been evident since the first test, and this led to a very positive atmosphere. We will do our best to provide them with a competitive car that can fight for victory, and with a great professional like Fabian on board, we think we have a solid starting situation for the season.
