The FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) is one of the most famous and prestigious motorsport championships in the world, with legendary races such as the iconic 24 hours of Le Mans and the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
Races can last up to 24 hours long and provide teams with some of the toughest challenges in motorsport across a truly global backdrop.
Now entering its 14th season, the 2025 WEC calendar gives WEC’s manufacturers, teams and partners intercontinental visibility in key regions around the world and fans the chance to see the action in person close to home.

Round 1 – Qatar 1812 km
28 February 2025
The second running of the Qatar 1812km will kick off the 2025 season. With a 10-hour time limit in place, this fast and flowing track will offer little room for error and provide a lot of challenges for cars making their way through the pack. Overtaking is tricky due to the flow of the corners and tyre wear is a variable to consider with the abrasive surface.
Round 2 – Imola
20 April 2025
FIA WEC returns to the Imola Circuit for the second time and will begin a run of European races on the calendar, leading to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This circuit is relatively narrow, while overtaking is tricky but possible. It also features elevation changes and some of the most iconic sections in motorsport.
Round 3 - Spa-Francorchamps

Spa-Francorchamps is undoubtedly one of the most famous and exciting race circuits on any motorsport calendar. Featuring spectacular corners, linking into extremely fast straight sections, enhanced with various elevation changes.
Spa is a mentally challenging circuit for drivers where simple mistakes on it can cost seconds due to its punishing nature. In addition, the notoriously unpredictable weather is to be taken seriously into account especially in the longer races.
Round 4 – 24H of Le Mans

Probably the world’s most famous racetrack, Le Mans provides drivers with an incredibly challenging layout of 13.62km, including large sections of closed of public roads. The many landmarks, including the Dunlop Bridge, the Porsche Curves, and the Panoramic Wheel are unique, and the full city supports the race as one making it an unforgettable experience for fans and insiders alike. In terms of driving, the corners and chicanes provide technically difficult challenges for drivers to rise above, especially on a 24-hour distance.
Round 5 – São Paulo
13 July 2025
This compact circuit situated between the lakes outside São Paulo has delivered many historic moments, great battles and a lot of passion in the past. The teams race in the shade of many famous Formula 1 drivers, starting from the legendary Ayrton Senna, whose presence can be felt to this day. The race occurs during the Brazilian winter, so the atmospheric conditions and tyre choices are tough to predict, while the tight layout makes the best overtakers stand out.
Round 6 – Lone Star Le Mans

Sitting outside one of the most sparkling cities of the USA, Austin, Circuit of The Americas has a unique layout featuring sweeping esses, technical sections and a mega climb up to the first corner that made it a modern classic.
The stars-and-stripes track markings, a high-rise tower and its huge flags are iconic, while being in one of the hottest times of the year add up to the challenge for anyone willing to compete there.
Round 7 – Fuji
28 September 2025
The penultimate round of the year is a visit to Fuji Speedway. Situated at the foot of the stunning Mount Fuji, Japan, this track has been a regular feature on the WEC calendar since 2012. With a long straight and a variety of corners, it is tough to predict and decide the car balance for the race. In addition, the outside temperatures and weather can vary wildly from one season to the other. Quick reactions from teams in terms of set-up is thus paramount.
Round 8 - Bahrain
08 November 2025
Bahrain is a fast track located in the Middle Eastern island-state. With very warm weather normally greeting the drivers, the 8-hour race heads into the night carrying changing conditions. As it sits in the middle of the desert, sand often makes its way on track, altering the grip levels and tyre wear. After the series finale, an epic beach celebration awards the best of the season.
